THE DATABASE
The UNEARTHING THE MUSIC database gathers music, photos, texts, interviews, videos, posters and other materials from countries all over Europe under non-Democratic regimes in the late 20th century.
Our Team
UNEARTHING THE MUSIC unites five organizations from five different European countries in pursuit of the history and the stories of European experimental music
OUT.RA
Portugal
OUT.RA – Associação Cultural is the author and organizer of UNEARTHING THE MUSIC, and also organizes the OUT.FEST festival and regular concerts in the city of Barreiro, Portugal.
Skaņu Mežs
Latvia
Skaņu Mežs (Sound Forest) organizes the oldest and largest annual innovative music festival in the Baltic states, as well as sound art exhibitions and educational activities in Riga, Latvia.
MTA-BTK
Hungary
